Where is The Dry Cleaning Centre?
At 165 Manor Road, Chigwell IG7 5QA. We serve Chigwell, Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, Woodford and nearby East London. No appointment is needed during opening hours.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available on site at the Manor Road shop.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm. Closed on Sunday.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Drop in during opening hours with garments for dry cleaning or alterations.
Do you clean Canada Goose and other down jackets?
Yes. We clean designer outerwear including Canada Goose. Down and taped hoods should not go through a domestic wash — bring them to the shop.
Can you shorten jacket sleeves without cutting the cuff?
Yes. When a cuff has working buttons or a pattern that must stay, we take the sleeve off at the shoulder and set it back shorter. See examples under Our work.
What alterations do you do?
In-house tailoring including hemming, taking in and letting out, zip replacement, sleeve shortening, and work on dresses, jackets, leather and knitwear. Ask in the shop if you are unsure.
